How to update your payment method (host plan)

Swap the card on file for your MNG host subscription — done from the Stripe Customer Portal.

Steps

  1. Owner Portal → Billing
  2. Click Manage billing — opens the Stripe Customer Portal
  3. Click Update payment method (or Add new card)
  4. Enter new card details
  5. Save

The new card is used for the next billing cycle. The current period stays charged on the old card.

Adding a backup card

In the Customer Portal you can add multiple cards:

  • Primary card is charged by default
  • Backup cards are tried automatically if the primary fails

Useful if you're between cards (waiting for replacement) or want a safety net.

When the new card takes effect

  • Updated immediately for new charges
  • Currently-pending charges stay on the original card
  • Failed retries also use the new card

Common issues

"My card is declined"

  • Check expiry date
  • Confirm there's enough balance / credit limit
  • Some debit cards need explicit "online purchases" enabled by your bank
