How to refund a single event attendee

Per-attendee refund with a choice: void the ticket or keep it usable.

Refund one attendee without affecting the rest of the event.

Steps

  1. Owner Portal β†’ Events β†’ click into the event
  2. Scroll to Attendees β†’ find the buyer
  3. Click Refund on their row
  4. Choose:
    • Refund + void ticket (default) β€” buyer gets money back, ticket status flips to Refunded
    • Refund only (keep ticket valid) β€” buyer gets money back AND can still attend (goodwill / no-show grace)
  5. Confirm

What the buyer sees

  • Email confirming the refund (amount + reason if you provided one)
  • Refund hits their card 5-10 business days later (Stripe's standard)

What it costs you

  • The refunded amount is debited from your Stripe balance
  • The 5% MyNextGym platform fee is non-refundable β€” comes out of your payout

Multi-quantity bookings

If the buyer purchased 3 tickets in one transaction, the refund refunds the whole transaction ($X Γ— 3). To refund only some tickets from a multi-purchase, use Contact Support β€” partial refunds need manual handling for now.

Free events: No money to refund. To remove a free attendee, use the Remove button next to their row instead.
