BJJ Hervey Bay

Welcome to BJJ Hervey Bay, a family-oriented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in Urangan, Hervey Bay. Founded by Jim Reid, a 3rd Degree Black Belt, the academy is part of the Maromba Academia Australia team and offers a welcoming environment where ego is left at the door and learning is paramount. Classes cater to all ages and experience levels, from young juniors aged 4-7 years learning through play-based activities, to teenagers and adults developing complete BJJ skills including throws, takedowns, joint locks, chokes and self-defence techniques.

The academy also offers No-Gi grappling classes and Jujutsu Combatives training based on Army Combatives programs. With a focus on teamwork and mutual respect, BJJ Hervey Bay provides a supportive community for anyone looking to develop practical self-defence skills, build confidence and achieve fitness goals through the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
