Hamersley Athletics Centre

Hamersley Athletics Centre is a thriving community athletics club located at Charles Riley Memorial Reserve in North Beach, serving the Perth Northern Coastal Suburbs for over 50 years. The centre offers comprehensive athletics programs for children and young athletes, from Little Athletics for ages five to eleven through to Junior Athletics for those aged eleven and over. With a focus on family, fun, and fitness, Hamersley provides tailored track and field training designed to match developmental stages whilst building fundamental running, jumping and throwing skills.

The centre operates dual seasons, with the competitive Summer Season running from September through March and the Winter Season featuring cross country training during May to August. Athletes have access to expansion pathways through affiliations with Athletics West, including the competitive Strive Program at the WA Athletics Stadium. As a parent-volunteer led organisation, Hamersley maintains a supportive, engaging environment that fosters a genuine love for athletics and helps young athletes develop resilience and skills for both sport and life.
