Whittlesea City Little Athletics Centre

Whittlesea City Little Athletics Centre is a dedicated track and field facility serving young athletes aged 5 to 16 across the greater Whittlesea area. Operating seasonally from September to March, the centre provides a welcoming environment where children of all abilities can develop their athletic skills in a supportive community setting. With multiple affiliated clubs including Epping LAC, Metro LAC, Mill Park South Morang LAC, Northern Stars LAC, and Meadowglen Lalor LAC, members have access to regular weekly training sessions tailored to different age groups.

The centre hosts competitive events including summer track and field championships, cross country competitions, and relay races, creating opportunities for young athletes to challenge themselves and build confidence. Beyond athletic development, the programme emphasises the importance of physical health, social wellbeing, and family involvement, allowing children to make lasting friendships whilst parents enjoy quality time together. New members can start with two free weeks of competition, making it easy to try little athletics before committing.
