Motion and Repose offers authentic classical Pilates training in the tradition of Joseph Pilates' original Open Studio method. Under the guidance of experienced instructor Miriam Jones, clients progress through personalised exercise sequences tailored to their individual bodies and goals. The studio provides both in-person and online Zoom sessions, making it accessible whether you're training locally or travelling.
After completing an introductory package with one-on-one sessions, you'll move into the Open Studio experience where you work with traditional Pilates equipment including reformers, mats, towers, and chairs. This layered, systematic approach builds strength, flexibility, and spine health whilst developing the principles of Contrology. Whether you're seeking to enhance your fitness, improve posture, or deepen your mind-body connection, Motion and Repose delivers genuine, results-driven Pilates training.
The studio also offers teacher mentoring and bespoke workshops for professionals seeking to elevate their practice and support their clients more effectively.
