High Country Swimming

High Country Swimming has been a trusted name in the Armidale community since 1980, offering comprehensive swimming instruction for all ages and abilities. Located at The Armidale School's heated indoor pool on Douglas Street, we provide a welcoming environment for learners to develop their skills. From our foundational Learn to Swim classes through to advanced stroke development and fitness programs, our fully qualified Austswim and Swim Australia instructors deliver small group lessons tailored to individual progress.

We cater to children aged 7 and up with our Skill Squad program, whilst adults of all levels can join our Adult Learn to Swim and High Cows fitness classes. The heated indoor facility ensures year-round comfort, and we actively support families through Active Kids Vouchers. Whether you're looking to help your child master water confidence or develop your own swimming fitness, High Country Swimming provides expert coaching in a friendly, supportive setting that has served families throughout Armidale, Uralla, Walcha and Guyra for over four decades.
