About
The New England Martial Arts Centre in Armidale offers comprehensive martial arts training for children and families, founded by Anthony Kelly, a Guinness World Record holder with black belt qualifications in 21 different martial arts styles. NEMAC goes beyond traditional self-defence instruction, focusing on developing confident, disciplined, and resilient young people through expertly crafted training programmes. Classes cater to Little Ninjas aged 5-9 years and older students from 9-16 years, held at Cathedral Hall on Rusden Street.
Anthony's unique approach combines the most effective techniques from multiple martial arts disciplines, including Kung Fu, Wushu, Karate, Taekwondo, Ninjutsu, and Mixed Martial Arts. Students progress through a structured level system from white belt to master level, gaining not only physical fitness but mental preparation for life's challenges. With his philosophy that practice is the key to success, Anthony ensures each student understands responsible, realistic self-defence applications.
Classes run Monday through Friday with dedicated sessions for different age groups. Whether your child is beginning their martial arts journey or advancing their skills, NEMAC provides expert instruction in a supportive environment designed to help young people thrive.
